Who I am

I am a UX engineer cum frontend developer with an eye for a great user experience, with over 20 years designing and building online applications, websites and webshops under my belt. My roots lie in marketing and sales, making me the perfect sparring partner for a user experience that converts.

As a UX engineer I have the technical skills, such as HTML/CSS/JS, jQuery, Bootstrap, React, LESS/SASS, Gulp/Grunt, GIT and responsive design on platforms as different as Magento or Outsystems. Also, I design or develop with a good sense of shape and balance, with clarity of the message at the forefront of everything I make.

I have worked in many industries, ranging from software to logistics and from books to travel; in high-volume/high-traffic environments.

Being part of a (Scrum) team is second nature to me. What I love most is prototyping online applications, working closely with UX and graphics designers.
